The first regular issue was the lithographed from October 1854 with four values: 1/2 anna, 1 anna, 2 annas, and 4 annas stamps that have been extremely popular and well studied by philatelists for many decades;
The rarest of all Indian Stamps - the celebrated inverted head - is the crown jewel of this issue!
